Companies registered outside the UK are entitled to a refund of 20% VAT of most Business Expenses including
• Hotels
• Meals
• Car Hire & Transport
• Computer Hardware & Other Business Expenses
Example An Australian Pty Ltd business incurs UK expenditure of £50,000 on Hotels, Meals & other Business expenses. UK law allows a 20% (or £10,000) refund of business expenditure.
